About Hara Museum ARC

Founded by Isao Hara, a passionate art collector, the Hara Museum ARC opened its doors in 2008 with a clear vision: to provide a space where contemporary art could flourish in the heart of Japan’s countryside. The name “ARC” stands for “Art, Regional, Community,” encapsulating the museum’s mission to create a vibrant hub for artistic expression while engaging with the local community and global audience.
